Невозможно удалить файлы в качестве пользователя root с использованием последовательного поперечного кабеля RS232

У меня есть устройство (CCTV-декодер), которое само перезагрузилось, поэтому нельзя подключиться к LAN-кабелю. Он имеет только порт RS232, нет VGA и клавиатуры / USB-порта (встроенный ПК).

Я подключил кросс-кабель RS232 и использовал Teraterm, я ввел в режим настройки. Где я могу видеть все файлы и каталоги. Я не могу редактировать любой файл / папку, являющуюся пользователем root. Но я могу редактировать через telnet удаленно для обычного устройства. Я не знаю причины.
